Your Guide to Fall Activites

Fall is finally here and the temperatures have *slightly* decreased so we can all pretend it is appropriate to wear flannel shirts, boots, and sweaters. This also means it’s time for all the best fall activities including pumpkin patches, corn mazes, and haunted houses. Check it out!

Corn Maze

Circle N Maze: The Circle N Maze is located in La Vernia and includes a 5.5-acre corn maze, pumpkin patch, petting zoo, games, and food trucks. Tickets are $10 with discounts for children and seniors.

South Texas Maize: Located in Hondo, this fall adventure includes a 7-acre maze, hayride, the MatterCorn Slide Mountain, the Twin Cow Train, Cowboy Ken’s Kiddie Korral, the Hay Bale Jump, Paw Paw’s pig races, unlimited jumping on our two Corn Pop-Poppers and the Whacky Whizzzer! Tickets are $15 with discounts for children and seniors.

Haunted Houses

13th Floor: This Haunted House opens are 7 PM with ticket prices ranging from $20 – $32 depending on the day of the week. Weekends are more expensive, but can you really put a price on thrill?

Psycho Asylum: This Haunted House is located in an old insane asylum and slaughterhouse. Legend has it the prior residents still haunt the location. Hello, real-life haunted house. Tickets range from $28 – $35. Thursdays & Sunday’s are college days.

Ripely’s Haunted Adventure (Terror on the Plaza): Ripley’s Haunted Adventure is a multi-million dollar haunted house featuring live actors, animatronics and bone chilling special effects. Tickets are $22.

Pumpkin Patch

Alamo Heights Methodist Church: Free admission and open daily from 9 AM – 7 PM until October 31st.

Bracken United Methodist Pumpkin Patch: Free admission and open daily from 9 AM – sundown until November 1st.

Bulverde United Methodist Church: Free admission and open daily from 10 AM to 8 PM until October 31st.

Good News Pumpkin Patch: Free admission and open Sunday–Friday, Noon – 8 PM and Saturday, 10 AM – 8 PM until October 31st.

Northwest Hills United Methodist Pumpkin Patch: Free admission and open daily from 9 AM – 9 PM until October 31st.

Oxford United Methodist Church Pumpkin Patch: Free admission and open from Monday–Saturday, 10 AM – 8 PM and Sunday, noon – 8 PM until October 31st.

Owl Creek Pumpkin Patch: Admission is $8 per person and includes access to pony rides, hay rides, hay maze, petting zoo, and play areas. The patch is open Monday–Friday, 9 AM – 1 PM; Saturday, 9 AM – 7 PM; and Sunday, 11 AM – 7 PM until October 29th.

The Pumpkin Patch San Antonio: Admission is $10 for ages 3 and older. Admission includes unlimited activities, live music, photo-ops, and entertainment. The patch is open Saturdays and Sundays, 11 AM – 7 PM until October 29th.

TLF Pumpkin Patch: Admission is free Monday – Friday. Saturdays & Sundays admission is $5 for those 3 and older and includes unlimited games. The patch is open Monday–Friday, 4 PM – 8 PM and Saturdays & Sundays, 10 AM – 7 PM until October 31st.

University United Methodist Student Ministry Pumpkin Patch: Free admission and open daily from 10 AM – 8 PM until October 31st.

Windcrest UMC Pumpkin Patch: Admission is free and the patch is open daily from 10 AM – 8 PM until October 31st.
