Your Guide to Fall Reading

The weather is far from cozy here in San Antonio, but the fresh start of the Fall season is a great reason to dive into something new. Check out all my top picks for fall reading!

Educated: I have to give a huge shout out to my friend, Micheal, for suggesting this book. I’m not a huge memoir reader, but this is like nothing I’ve read. I devoured the author’s story about growing in an extremely strict, religious household.

Before We Were Yours: This book, based on a collection of stories gathered about children from a Tennessee Children’s Home, is a heart wrenching that had to be told. The writing is strong and you will need a box of tissues.

You Think It, I’ll Say It: If you’re looking for something short and sweet then this collection of short stories about life in the world today is just the ticket. Dive in!

Girl Wash Your Face: If you are looking for some encouragement or a swift kick in the pants to get your life together then you need this book. There is a reason everyone is raving.

Crazy Rich Asians: I’m sure you’ve all seen the movie by now (if not, please book a movie ticket ASAP!) so why not pick up the book. It’s a quick, easy read that you already know will keep you entertained.
