Your Guide to Burgers

Memorial weekend is just around the corner so it’s the perfect time to have a backyard cookout or just enjoy a nice, juicy burger at your favorite spot. I have rounded up a few of the top places in San Antonio below. Which place is your favorite?

  • Armadillos Texas Style Burgers: Everything is in the name so you are sure to enjoy.
  • Babes Old Fashioned Burger: This place has great burgers alongside chicken, pizza, and lunch specials for those who aren’t ready for to dive into a cheeseburger.
  • Burger Boy: I dare you to find a more quintessential San Antonio burger joint.
  • Bun’N’Barrel: Okay- this place miiiiight be a more quintessential San Antonio burger joint since it’s been around for more than 60 years serving up the best.
  • Candy’s Old Fashioned: This is your place if you are downtown and craving a burger. While this place is tucked away you’ll be glad when you make the time to visit.
  • Cheesy Janes: This retro place is such a fun stop on Broadway and is sure to offer some great cheesy burgers and fries. (I mean, obvi)
  • The Cove: If you are looking for a low-key place to enjoy some eats and live music then look no further. This is also a great place for kids since there is a playground!
  • Cured: While you are only able to order a burger off of the lunch menu this place is worth the early trip and has a more upscale atmosphere.
  • Fattboy Burgers: Burgers, hot dogs, fries and ice cream. Do you even need anything else?!
  • Luther’s Cafe: If you are looking for a fun, new twist to the classic burger then this place has all kinds of combinations you’ll be excited to try!
  • Longhorn Cafe: This San Antonio chain is an easy, default place when you need a quick burger fix.
  • Mark’s Outing: Not only does this place have some of the best burgers in town you can also finish your meal with homemade dessert or combine the best of both worlds with their ice cream burger!
  • Sam’s Burger Joint: Part burger joint, part bar, and part music venue there is something for everyone.
  • Tycoon Flats: This low-key joint has some of the best burgers and fun drinks you can enjoy out on their patio.
  • Zinc: This place has a sophisticated atmosphere and the burger cannot be missed.
