- Bexar Pub: Live music, the famous Folc burger, and cold drinks. This place is a bit off the beaten path, but worth your time.
- Burleson Yard Beer Garden: With a full bar, hammocks, a playground, and sports games this place has something for everyone.
- Bier Garten Riverwalk: For German brews & Bavarian fare on the Riverwalk this is your place.
- Con Safos: One of the newest places at Hemisfair this bar has fresh Aguas Frescas, agave-wine based Frozen Margaritas, and over 50+ beers to choose from including draft selections which can all be taken into the park.
- The Cove: The Cove is a San Antonio classic with live music, gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian eats, and a casual atmosphere.
- Dorćol Distilling Company: This distillery has some of the most talented bar staff and owners in San Anotnio. If you are looking for a great craft cocktail then you cannot miss this place.
- Filling Station Tap Room: If you are looking for a casual place to have an IPA then this is your place. Located right next to Station Cafe, you can’t go wrong with a handmade pizza or sandwich with your drink.
- The Friendly Spot: This is the quintessential outdoor bar in San Antonio. Even though they only serve beer and wine you are guaranteed to find the game playing on the big screen and enjoy a relaxed time.
- The Hoppy Monk: If you are looking for a casual place on the Northside then this might be your only option which is quite fine since the food and drinks are topnotch.
- The Luxury: If you want it all, good food, good drinks, good view, then you need to stop by The Luxury. This will be a summer staple.
- La Tuna Grill: This classic Southtown staple serves up lunch, dinner, and drink. Perfect for a happy hour after work or a casual Saturday afternoon.
- Ocho: If you are looking for a mojito and a view of the river then this stop is for you. Don’t forget to snap a picture because this is place was made for Instagram.
- Paramour: If you are looking for views of the city then this is your place. The cocktails are the most expensive in town, but you can always opt to go during the day for brunch or just order a coffee and enjoy the view.
- The Pigpen: Family friendly full bar right next to Smoke Shack which has some of the best BBQ in town. This is an easy choice. Do it.
- Rumble: Located on the strip this place is great for a drink after work or a place to start your night. With a DJ and themed cocktails, you are sure to enjoy yourself.
- Sanchos Cantina & Cocina: If you are looking for a classic, fresh margarita, and a delicious taco then you have come to the right place.
- Villa Rica: This newest place in Southtown is one to check out. They have seafood, burgers, and great drink deals.
- Viva TacoLand: This place is by far the most casual place around the Pearl and it is always an easy place to grab a bite to eat and hang out with friends. There is often live music
