Your Guide to Super Bowl Watch Parties

The Super Bowl is this Sunday and, if you haven’t made plans, now is the time to find the perfect place to catch the game. Or, for the other half of viewers, it’s the time to find the place with the best food so you can rate the super bowl commercials and watch the half-time show.

Big Hops Bitters: The growler station will provide pizza and appetizers, beer specials and the game.

Drink Texas: Downtown’s Drink will feature free barbecue while it lasts and specials on Bud Light Draft all day.

Easy Street SA: Stop in for washers, beer pong, specials on micheladas, screwdrivers, and free food.

Evil Olive: Enjoy happy hour prices all day and 0.70 cent wings.

Fat Racks Sports Bar & Billiards: Happy hour pricing until close, .75 cent wings, and door prizes each quarter.

The Friendly Spot: Slab Cinema will blow up two screens for this friendly watch party.

The Hangar Bar & Grill: $10 domestic buckets, free fried pickles, and jalapeños during the game.

High Velocity Sports Bar: Located at the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort this location has several drink and appetizer specials planned for the big game.

Hurricane Grill: In addition to happy hour drink and food specials all Sunday, the restaurant is offering 10 percent off all preorders, now through Saturday, for Super Bowl Sunday.

La Roca Cantina: Enjoy complimentary burgers, hot dogs, chili, and apple pie at halftime with purchase of a cocktail or beer.

Little Woodrow’s Babcock: The grill will be fired up for $2 hot dogs, the game on more than 45 TVs, as well as shot and bucket specials.

Luther’s Cafe: Sunday will be a wing fest so come catch the game on the big screen or one of the 15 other TVs and indulge in your favorite flavor.

Mariachi Bar: This watch party will feature a 100-inch projection screen, beer samples from Bud Light and a $12 buffet including albondigas en chile chipotle, arroz Mexicano, jalapeño poppers, a nacho bar, along with a “Big Game Menu” with items such as Mexican hamburgers, Sonora dogs, barbacoa tacos and Tejano wings.

Slackers: Come compete in the fourth-ever wing-eating contest during halftime or just enjoy Sunday Funday happy hour with a free tailgate menu of burgers, hot dogs, sausage wraps and more.

Southtown 101 Bar & Grill: Southtown is showing the game on their flat screen and, in addition to food and drink specials, will have a jersey giveaway.

TBA: The bar will open early on Sunday with drink specials and free “Philly cheesesteak chowdah bowls.

The Trophy Room: Quarter shot specials, food, drinks, and the game on a 100-in screen.

The Winchester: Come enjoy the day-long festivities including a brunch, the Tottenham vs Liverpool futbol match, live music, crawfish, and the Super Bowl kick.

Whiskey Tree: Doors open at 11 a.m. for ridiculously cheap canned beers, and half-off wings and burgers.

Yard House: Will have a late night happy hour from 9 p.m.-to-11 p.m. for drinks and till 11:30 p.m. for food.
