2. Stomp grapes!
Pack a picnic and take a short day trip the Pedernales Cellars for their annual grape stomp. The event takes place every Friday, Saturday & Sunday until September 3rd. Don’t miss out on the fun!
3. Explore the Botanical Gardens.
The Botanical Gardens are not just full of beautiful flowers and fauna, but the gardens are also packed with low-key events. These weekend events include Art in the Garden, Tai Chi, Yoga, Aromatherapy and a Native Plant Walk. On Sunday, check out the Sprouts & Spritzers mixology event focused on sparkling wine-based cocktails with botanically-forward flavor profiles. What’s not to love?!
4. Have a Drink to Support Local Schools.
Have a drink at Flying Saucer and bring a school supply donations to be entered into a drawing for prizes and Flying Saucer gift cards. Winners will be announced August 31.
5. Book a reservation for Restaurant Week!
Over 100 restaurants are offering special three-course prix-fixe menus for lunch and dinner throughout the city. Lunch options are $10 or $15 and dinner options are $25 or $35. The menus run through August 26th and you can find a complete list participating restaurants here.
