The Friday Five

Your weekly dose of weekend adventure:

Support Youth Literacy: Enjoy an all-inclusive afternoon of select wines and specialty cocktails, as we donate 100% of event proceeds to San Antonio Youth Literacy. Enjoy seasonal appetizers from Hanzo’s Fall menu and experience an exquisitely curated wine list while we fundraise for this excellent cause.

Indulge at Grillsgiving: GrillsGiving is a community-wide barbeque cook-off, music festival, and fundraiser. BBQ teams and guests enjoy a festival-like atmosphere, kids’ activities and entertainment along the banks of the Mission Reach. Live music from the Powell Brothers, Smoke Wagon, and Guy Forsyth!

Enjoy the Symphony: Marvel in the dynamic versatility of concertmaster Eric Gratz and welcome back former Associate Conductor Akiko Fujimoto as she leads the orchestra in Dvořák Symphony No. 8.

Celebrate the Tricentennial: This exhibition combines poetry with graphic design to commemorate the more than 300-year history of San Antonio from the Pre-Columbian era to the Present Day. It features the winning poems submitted by San Antonio poets in honor of the Tricentennial. The poems were interpreted by visual and graphic artists and transformed into two-dimensional vinyl works of art.

Dance the Night Away: Electric Feels is an immersive dance party from Los Angeles that features all your favorite Indie Rock + Indie Dance songs all night with amazing DJs, stage production and a few surprises!
