Sunset Yoga: Enjoy sunset yoga on the Artpace rooftop. Come stretch, breathe, and re-align as we flow into Friday night amongst the city lights. The hour-long session will be taught by a registered yoga instructor from 5 Points Local. Yoga mats, light snacks, and water will be provided. Namaste, and see you there!
Folklife Festival: This three-day event, on the grounds of the Institute of Texan Cultures showcases the Lone Star State’s diversity and rich heritage through a wide variety of ethnic food, music, dance, arts, and crafts.
Lavender Festival: Take a trip to local Lavender Farms, explore the lavender, take in some great live music in Bindseil Park and sample and purchase the best of Texas Specialty Packaged foods, regional wines & local beer.
MeatUp: Texas Monthly returns with the 2nd Annual MeatUp in San Antonio that brings together local pitmasters off the Top 50 BBQ Joints in Texas list and leading chefs. They’ll be serving up meaty dishes from the best culinary forces in the region, along with live music, cold beer, & hand-crafted cocktails.
Pop Art Exhibitions: Andy Warhol created numerous portfolios meant to stand on their own including “Cowboys and Indians” now on display at the Briscoe Western Art Museum. The series takes an irreverent, Hollywoodian approach to redefining icons such as Apache chief Geronimo, sharpshooting folk hero Annie Oakley, & Civil War cavalry commander General Custer
