1. Enjoy Gin: The local gin distillery celebrates its grand opening of their recently renovated space with a free Cinco de Derby party. Enjoy Juleps, live music, local food trucks, lawn games, free tours, live viewing of the Derby and more.

2. Watch Coco: Mission Marquee Plaza kicks off their 2018 movie series with a screening of Coco to celebrate Cinco de Mayo. Additional activities include mariachi music, ballet folklorico performances, food trucks and family fun.

3. Rock Science: The 12th Annual Girls Inc. RockIt into the Future Science Festival celebrates science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). The free science festival, pictured, provides girls with the opportunity to meet with local experts and partake in STEM activities in an encouraging environment.

4. Síclovía: Síclovía is a free event that turns major city streets into a safe place for people to exercise and play. The streets become temporarily car-free for about 5 hours on Sundays for families to run, ride bikes, take exercise classes and enjoy their city streets

5. Watch the Derby: Watch the Kentucky Derby at the Messina Hill Country’s VIP room while enjoying newly released wines and light appetizers. Showcase your Derby Day hat for the chance to win a specially labeled bottle of wine.
