Your Guide to Summer Reading

While the summer weather is sizzling outside you can spend your time indoors escaping your current reality in the pages of a good book. I know it sounds cheesy, but, honestly, what else are you going to do when Netflix has nothing you want to watch?

The Art of Gathering: This is a book about how we meet and why it matters. If you are planning a gathering of any kind– weddings, conferences, business meetings, dinner party– then you need to read this book.

Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine: The beach read you didn’t know you wanted to read. This book is like nothing I have ever read and is sure to leave you uplifted and happy.

Pachinko:  This book is an epic historical novel following characters from Korea who eventually migrate to Japan. The characters are so vivid and interesting you won’t want to put this down.

The Phantom Tollbooth: For a quick flash-back to childhood (or a quick first time read if you miss that part of childhood, like me) this book is fun and full of witty adventure that will leave you in a good mood.

Then She Was Gone: This mystery revolves around the disappearance of a fifteen-year-old girl with her life ahead of her.  Ten years later her mother hasn’t stopped looking for her and she may have just stumbled across the clue she needs to find out what really happened.
